HALDEN started in 2019 because a plumber we know was replacing the same $89 mixers every three years, in the same houses, for the same customers who thought they had bought something decent.

Everything here is solid brass with a ceramic disc cartridge. The bodies are cast and machined for us in Taiwan, the finishes are applied by PVD, and every range is assembled and pressure tested in Moorabbin before it goes on a shelf.

Three rules we do not bend

• No zinc alloy anywhere in the waterway. It is cheaper, it looks identical, and it fails from the inside.
• Every wearing part is a stocked spare. Cartridge, aerator, hose, handle, flange. Ten years after a range is discontinued.
• The projection and rough-in dimensions go on the product page, not in a PDF you have to ask for.

Where things are made

Brass bodies cast and machined in Taichung. PVD finishing in Guangdong to our own colour standards, checked against a master sample every batch. Assembly, pressure testing and dispatch in Moorabbin, Victoria.
